These 5 Spanish First Dance songs were handpicked our very own DJ Kryptonite (The Best Los Angeles Bilingual DJ).

You can't go wrong with any of these latin wedding first dance songs.

Here we go (in no particular order):

Luis Miguel - "Somos Novios"

This song was originally released back in 2001 on his album Segundo Romance but is actually a cover version of a song that came out way back in 1968 by Mexican songwriter Armando Manzanero. In fact, it has been covered by over a dozen different artists in Spanish and English through the years including Elvis Presley, Christina Aguilera, Andy Williams, Andrea Bocelli and Julio Iglesias to name a few.

Vicente Fernandez - "Mujeres Divinas"

This is a classic song by the legendary singer from Guadalajara, Mexico. Nicknamed as "El Rey de la Música Ranchera" (The King of Ranchera Music). Fernández started his career singing for tips on the street, and has since become a cultural icon, recording more than 50 albums and contributing to more than 30 films. Fernandez's work has earned him two Grammy Awards, eight Latin Grammy Awards, fourteen Lo Nuestro Awards, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He has sold over 50 million copies worldwide, making him one of the best-selling regional Mexican artists of all time. In 2016, Fernández retired from performing live, however continues to record and publish music.

Monchy y Alexandra - "Dos Locos"

This classic Spanish wedding first dance song was released back in 2002 off their album Confesiones. Sadly, this Dominican Republic based musical group broke up in 2006 and haven't released any music since.

Prince Royce - "Corazon Sin Cara"

This Bachata anthem was released in February of 2010 and is still a very popular song at latin/spanish weddings. In an interview Royce was asked to describe the lyrics of the song. He said that it is about "girls who always wear makeup or think they're fat or they're ugly...it's not all about the materialistic things and the image. It's not just about that." Royce pointed out the inclusion of instruments on the song such as violins and cellos, noting that such instruments are not normally used in bachata music.

Romeo Santos featuring Usher - "Promise"

Originally a member of the American Bachata group Aventura, this song was taken from Romeo's debut album which came out in 2011. This song combines elements of r&b and bachata and features the vocals of the legendary Usher. The collaboration came through because Santos' manager Johnny Marines introduced Usher to Santos. Usher was impressed by Santos ability to perform after seeing him on YouTube, saying: "This is the thing that people will remember." Usher and Romeo even performed the song live at the Latin Grammy Awards in 2011 held in Las Vegas.
